New World Altitude Record by Ramón Morillas

This adventure, using the pilot’s own words, has been "amazing". More than a month exploring the Nanga Parbat, in the Himalayas, and the Masherbrum, in the Karakorum. Two expeditions in one when Ramón beat his own record twice soaring to 7400m in Nanga Parbat and to 7864m in Masherbrum. He proved that this area is perfect for this type of flights.

Besides, the team work has been excellent offering great results. Under the direction of Sebastian Alvaro, director of the TV show "Al filo de lo Imposible", a large amount of filming and imaging material has been collected. They are currently making a 1 hour documentary on this expedition.

Flying with an aircraft, as the Paramotor, to these altitudes certainly is a milestone in the history of the aeronautics; of the search of the sports limits that characterizes the evolution of our air disciplines; comparable with the big exploits in the world of the mountain.

We would also like to highlight a few free flights on the Hushé valley, where the pilot was close to the 7000m without the help of a paramotor. This also proves that the area is also perfect for free flights as well. We also had great experiences living with the locals. We were able to do our bit to a Spanish supporting project for education and infrastructures known as the "Proyecto Hushé".

The media impact of this expedition is growing day by day. Some videos on the expedition can be viewed on the Internet whereas the documentary is finished, more than 60,000 views on the first week and growing.
This news appeared on different Spanish TV channels and on the sports media. It is also confirmed that during 2010 it will appear on a number of specialized magazines.

With this experiences and the proposal of backing Pakistan by Sebastián Álvaro (creator of the TV program "Al filo de lo Imposible"), come up the new chanllenge. Together want to film in bird´s eye view the most incredible place in the world: the K2.
