The EOLE 1 measures wind speed only. The large rotating cups will measure a breeze from under 1.0 mph to the strongest winds. The EOLE 2 adds a digital compass (Eole-2 Coming Soon).
The METEOS 1 adds a temperature sensor to measure air temperature and calculate windchill. The METEOS 2 adds a digital compass (Meteos-2 Cmming Soon).
All versions of the EOLE and METEOS feature average windspeed with selections from a 3 second average to 24 hour average. They are waterproof, float, and come with a protective cover for the impeller. The LCD has an EL backlight, and the case has an aluminum baseplate for a tripod attachment. The new design allows for the Eole and Meteos to be powered by 2 AA batteries, rather than a button cell.
