Design
The adapter is housed in a functional, airtight and robust box with no protruding parts. Its dimensions adapt to the size of the hand, and it is easy to wear attached to clothing without causing any discomfort or getting caught on other objects. On the back of the adapter there is a fixing clip that can be rotated 360° so that the adapter can be used most flexibly and easily in any situation. The fixing clip can be removed if you do not want to fix it on clothing. The adapter also has a fixing eyelet (B), which can be used for fixing.
PTT button
The radio activation button (PTT or Push-To-Talk) is made of a special soft plastic material. This is located on the front of the adapter and is designed for right and left handed users wearing thick gloves. The button has touch points that define the on and off position.
Connection cable
The output cable has a connector for coupling to the communication radio or telephone. The headset cable connects to the PTT box via a heavy-duty NEXUS connector, Peltor's standard J11 type.
The adapter, and especially the plug, is built to prevent the electronic components from being affected by humidity (Watertightness class IP65). The position of the plug makes it easy to connect and disconnect the headset.
