3M™ 2135 FFP3 Dust Filter
The 3M™ 2135 P3R Filter protects against solid and liquid particles. Suitable for 3M™ 6000 and 7000 Series half masks and full face masks. Commonly used in the pharmaceutical and food industries, construction, agriculture, handling of powdered chemicals, refractory materials, ceramics, etc.
The 3M™ 2135 Disc Filter can be used in industries where excessive levels of particles are present in the workplace atmosphere.
It offers low breathing resistance. It has been tested and meets the specifications of AS/NZS 1716: 2003 Class P3 particle filter
when used with compatible 3M respirators. The 2135 filter has been classified as a P3 Particulate Filter and can therefore be used for protection against mechanically and/or thermally generated particles, i.e. it provides protection against dusts, mists and fumes as well as toxic materials such as beryllium.
When selected and used in accordance with AS/NZS 1715, the 3M™ Disc Filter 2135 is capable of providing protection against particles at levels up to ten (10) times the standard exposure in a half mask and over one hundred (100) times the exposure standard in a full facepiece.
NOTE: The 3M™ Disc Filter 2135 provides P3 protection with a full facepiece respirator only. It provides P2 protection with the half mask or half facepiece respirator.
