Peltor Alert - Makes duties a pleasure
The 3M™ Peltor™ Alert™ is a hearing protector with built in electronic functionality to improve safety and increase motivation for wearers in noisy conditions. It has a built in FM radio and an automatic level function for ambient listening. Warning signals, approaching vehicles and other dangers that may occur can still be heard thanks to the automatic level function for ambient listening. The Alert is equipped with an external jack that enables connection to external sources, for example a mobile phone or an MP3-player.
The 3M™ Peltor™ Alert™ has been developed to improve safety and motivation for users in noisy environments. It enables you to listen to FM-radio or external device (MP3 player, mobile phone) at the same time as you can hear your surroundings and communicate with your colleagues without taking the hearing protector off. It safeguards your ears from harmful noise, while heightening your senses and ability to react.
Safety
In order to be effective, a hearing protector should be used 100% of the time in noisy environments. Even taking it off for a short time dramatically reduces its effectiveness and greatly increases the risk of hearing damage. The 3M™ Peltor™ Alert™ ambient listening function encourages longer use because the wearer feels less isolated and can more easily communicate with others.

Standards and Approval
3M™ Peltor™ Alert is in conformity with the provisions set out in the PPE directive 89/686/EEC, the RoHS directive 2011/65/EU and the EMC directive 2004/108/EC. Thereby it fulfills the requirements for CE marking.
The product has been tested and approved in accordance with EN 352-1:2002, EN 352-3:2002, EN 352-4:2001+ A1:2005, EN 352-8:2008, EN 55013:2001 + A1:2003 + A2:2006, EN 55020:2007 + A11:2011, EN 50581:2012.
