El 3M™ Peltor™ Alert™es un protector auditivo con funcionalidad electrónica incorporada para aumentar la seguridad e incrementar la motivación de los usuarios en condiciones ruidosas. Posee radio FM incorporada y función de escucha del entorno para escucha del entorno. Señales de advertencia, vehículos aproximandose y otros peligros que puedan ocurrir se siguen escuchando gracias a su función de escucha del entorno. El Alert está equipado con un Jack externo que permite su conexión con fuentes externas, por ejemplo un teléfono móvil o un reproductor MP3.
El 3M™ Peltor™ Alert™ le permite escuchar la radio o los dispositivos externos (reproductor MP3, teléfono móvil) al mismo tiempo que puede comunicarse con sus compañeros o escuchar el entorno sin necesidad de quitarse el protector. Esto salvaguarda sus oidos de los ruidos dañinos mientras mejora sus sentidos y su capacidad de reacción.
Seguridad
Para ser efectivo, un protector auditivo debe usarse el 100% del tiempo en ambientes ruidosos. Aún quitandolo solamente un breve espacio de tiempo, reduce drásticamente su efectividad e incrementa notablemente el riesgo de daños auditivos. La función de escucha del entorno del 3M™ Peltor™ Alert™ fomenta el uso continuo porque el usuario se siente menos aislado y se puede comunicar más facilmente con el resto.
