La serie 3M SF400 es una extensión de la exitosa gama de gafas de seguridad SecureFit. Cada modelo de la serie SF400 esta compuesto por unas lentes sin montura y unas patillas con longitud fija. Se han incluido también protecciones laterales para una mejor protección. Las patillas incluyen el sistema 3M™ de difusión de la presión a través de la patilla que ayuda a repartir la presión ejercida sobre la oreja y mejora el confort en una gran variedad de trabajadores. Su innovador diseño proporciona mejoras en el confort y la seguridad de ajuste. Las almohadillas ajustables en el puente nasal y el suave recubrimiento antideslizante en la cara interna de la patilla mejoran el confort e incrementan el ajuste.
Diseñadas para mejorar el confort y la usabilidad mediante la tecnología Fit de 3M, y añade además nuevas características de estilo.
Conseguir unas gafas que se ajusten de forma segura a cualquier trabajo puede ser un desafío. La Tecnología patentada de difusión de presión a lo largo de la patilla de 3M™ mejora el ajuste natural de las patillas, adaptándose al tamaño de cada cabeza, aumentando la comodidad debido a la leve presión sobre la zona de las sienes sin comprometer la seguridad del ajuste. Las ligeras gafas solo pesan 19 g. y ofrecen características mejoradas de comodidad y estilo, dos de las mayores barreras para su utilización.

Uso previsto
Estos productos están diseñados para protección contra particular de alta velocidad con baja energía (F) en condiciones extremas de temperatura -5ºC y +55ºC, (T) de acuerdo a la norma EN166:2001. También ofrecen protección contra radicación UV de acuerdo a la norma EN170:2002 (lentes incoloras y amarillas) y brillo solar de acuerdo a la norma EN172:1994 (lentes gris, in&out y azul espejo).
Disponibles diferentes tipos de lentes en función de su aplicación:
- Incolora – buen reconocimiento de color y excelente protección UV
- Gris – protección contra brillo solar
- Amarilla – mejora el contraste en condiciones de poca luz
- Azul espejo – protección contra brillo solar
- In&Out – perfecto para trabajadores que se mueven dentro y fuera de lugares con fuerte luz solar.

Limitaciones de uso
- Nunca modificar o alterar el producto.
- No utilizar estos productos para protección contra otros riesgos que no sean los especificados en este documento.
- Estos productos no son adecuados para tareas de soldadura o abrasión.
- Estos productos NO están diseñados para ser llevados encima de gafas de prescripción.
- De acuerdo a la norma EN166:2001 las gafas de seguridad no pueden ser testadas y aprobadas para su utilización contra salpicaduras de líquidos. Donde la protección contra líquidos se especifique se debería considerar un producto adecuado como unas gafas panorámicas.
Estándares y Aprobaciones
Estas gafas de seguridad cumplen los requisitos de seguridad recogidos en el articulo 10 de la directiva europea 89/686/EEC y por consiguiente tienen el marcado CE.
Estos productos han sido examinados en su etapa de diseño por ECS-GmbH – Servicio Europeo de Certifi cación, Huettfeldstrasse 50, 73430 Aalen, Germany (nº notifi cación 1883).
Estos productos han sido probados tienen la aprobación CE contra la norma EN166:2001.
